    Pros

    Learning opportunities, cultural diversity, variety in-house (wireless, cable, tv, magazines) so there's a chance to make a career change, good pay and benefits, most people are quite nice and others are aloof to those not on their teams

    Cons

    Slow promotions, career development still really based on who you know, development/training courses are restricted to select few, multiple layers in work flow/ bureaucracy, depends on the team you end up in - some are organized or overworked while others seem to work in their silos

    Empower existing employees, provide more training opportunities, have a good sense of what needs to be done before making drastic changes and damaging employee morale
