I have been working at Rolls-Royce full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Good benefits both dental, medical and family.

    Cons

Don't give a hoot about you're well being, everything is according to the book and decision making is based upon "covering my own b***". Salaries is based upon how good you are in with you're manager and also what he get's for his site. Which means that if you stand up for youreself it will most likely not happen.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

A Manager has to be able to make decisions based on local employees needs without any retribution. And Managers that makes those decisions and can stand up for them should be commended and promoted. Those Managers that constantly asks their employees to stick out their neck instead of themself needs to be weeded out. This company used to have values, these values have been thrown out and replaced with profitability with no regard for those that makes that happen....... the worker! You can be away from home and family for up to 6 weeks, working 12 hour days. And when you come home on a friday you still have to show up for work on monday. The product centers work 30 day's on and 30 day's off. They are appreciated! The satelite offices are NOT. The values that I was thought, is no longer excisting, and probably will never be back.
