I have been working at Romano's Macaroni Grill part-time for more than 3 years

Pros

Some of the best food in the Italian chain industry, great team, great job. I have worked here for about 3 years or so and have moved up quickly in the company. I have always felt valued by my immediate supervisors, and love the work.

Cons

Sometimes corporate decisions and policies do not match up with what they claim are their goals.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Find out what will incentivize the behavior you seek from your employees.

    I worked at Romano's Macaroni Grill part-time for less than a year

    Pros

    All of my coworkers with the exception of the management were awesome! It was really fun working busy shifts and everyone would help everyone else out. The tips were pretty good, just depending on the night.

    Cons

    The general manager was always on a power trip. He would put the employees down on a daily basis and no one would dare ask him any questions. You hardly got any days off that you asked for and they basically refused to work with any school schedules.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Don't treat your employees like dirt. It's not like you're better than any of us.
