I have been working at Rosetta full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

If you want to do CRM, this is a great company. There are still some good, smart, hardworking folks left.

    Cons

Working at Rosetta is like working in the Land of Oz, replete with witches, talking lions, flying monkeys and pretend wizards. This organization is dysfunctional on its good days and there aren't many of those anymore. On its bad days, one can feel like Sisyphus, rolling that stone all the way up the mountain and having it roll back down. The biggest thing that goes wrong here is that we don't listen to clients; you know, the ones who pay the fees. It is just disturbing

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The issue is that there are too many managers and not enough leaders. Please figure out what the elusive "Rosetta Value Proposition" really is and sell that to clients. A clear vision, good leadership and fostering an environment that will empower all team members will lead to success.

In the beginning it was entrepreneurial and energetic. The work was the focus.

I worked at Rosetta full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    - Great place to break your chops from a creative, UX and tech perspective.
    - Diverse vertical experience.
    - Ability to work in different offices and locations

    Cons

    - Careers are limited if you are not in executive ranks
    - Very large organization with too many manufactured levels which require rationalization
    - Will be frustrating for innovative creatives and technologists looking to build their portfolio. Work is very boilerplate and systematic.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Message to Publicis - audit levels of management and rid the agency of executive level waste. There are many not focused on the business but their own aggrandizement. Will never be an award winning top tier agency with these legacy stalwarts in place in the Mid West.
