Pros

For freelance, it was awesome. Fun concept work, big clients, big budgets, exciting pitches. Great location.

Cons

For full-time, it's a different story. High turnover rate. Very little opportunity. Executive level more concerned with their own comfort than the work or the people. This might have to do with the forced-ranking review system. People often felt undervalued.
Hours were very long, even for NY. No car service.

Advice to Management

Invest in your full-time employees. High turnover is an expensive thing to ignore.

    Pros

    - Great clients. You'll work with top clients in tech and telecom, pharmaceutical etc.
    - Resume builder (Publicis group)
    - Benefits are ok
    - You'll meet and work with some qualified people
    - Fun office and out of office events (community days, happy hours, dinner parties)

    Cons

    - Worst office space ever (LA office). Office is dark and outdated and there are more people than available space.
    - I've never seen so much politics. You'll feel like you're walking on egg shells on a constant basis.
    - Culture (or the lack of one). You're pretty much on your own over there. People are excessively and unnecessarily aggressive and rude towards team members. Everybody is more concerned with covering their own bottom than playing as a team. There is not a lot of training and there's a lot of micromanagement.
    - Geographically remote teams. There's a chance your entire team might be located somewhere else.

    Advice to Management

Less politics, more team building. Less rudeness, more morale. Keep up the good clients.

    Pros

Fun work, beautiful UX, lovely design.

    Cons

Management keeps info hidden from employees, doesn't understand the coding process, PMs are nice people but they've got no idea how long it takes to complete a task.

    Advice to Management

Stop sending Rah-Rah email and Inform your staff of what's actually happening.
