Everyone is genuinely positive

Area Supervisor (Current Employee) San Francisco, CA

ProsBeing that this is my first job, I can't say too much. However, the workers seem like a team here. There is a lot of different tasks to be done if you get scheduled in different areas. Management is friendly and I haven't had problems with scheduling very often.

ConsTasks are very fast paced. Its almost impossible to keep the store clean. Certain tasks can get monotonous if management schedules you with the same thing all the time.

Advice to Senior ManagementGive new associates a little more one on one training for the first two weeks.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Not Worth the headache

Sales Associate (Current Employee) Pensacola, FL

I have been working at Ross Stores part-time for less than a year

Pros: In tough times it is a job, but that's it. Cons: Not stable at all. Your hours flex up and down every week. One week you'll have 25 hours, the next you'll only have 10 hours… Advice to Senior Management: Give your employees decent hours. Who can make it off… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More
