I have been working at Ross Stores part-time for less than a year

Pros

Only Pro is that you get employee discount.

Cons

Work you like a dog, never praise for a job well done and micro manage you to death.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

More training for employees and more praise. At Christmas, it would be nice if the GM would share some of their bonuses with the employees who made them their bonuses.

I have been working at Ross Stores part-time for more than a year

    Pros

20% discount on clothing and other merchandise, 10% on jewelry. 40% discount on clothing and other merchandise during associate double discount days about 3 times a year. Health insurance offered for full and part time associates. Some what flexible schedules- good for students

    Cons

mostly part time positions, no paid vacations or sick time, minimum wage, less than 30 hours per week (a lot of times 10-18 hours), work can be mundane if slow or closer to closing time, customers are trashy and associates have to clean up after them, a lot of call outs by other associates because no one values their job, except management.
