I have been working at Ross Stores part-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Friendly atmosphere among employees.
Willing to work with your schedule.
    Good advancement opportunities.

    Cons

    Low starting pay.
    No starting full time.
    Weak starting insurance.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep it just like it is, meritocracy earns advancement. If there is anything I would suggest improving, it would be that you should offer more hours than a maximum of 25 to your part timers. Many of them leave due to the low working hours available. However, if they can find a second part time job it usually suffices.

    Recommends
    Positive Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Ross Stores part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Only work during week with stock team, some individual freedom on the job,

    Cons

Very strange policies (code 50 pat, shortage highway) inefficient management, lazy supervisors, very bad hours (cannot exceed 25 if part-time) unappreciative staff

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Learn to work with your employees and find the strengths and weakness of your associates and give them the opportunity to build on that. Lend your 'abilities' as management and help run the flow of the store when your help is needed, do not make unjust personal assumptions towards your associates.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
