    Pros

I don't really know what to say that is a Pro about this employer...
Minus that it is ALWAYS busy (Saturdays and Sundays are the WORST), so the workday may go by quick if you're lucky.

    Cons

Shoppers treat the store departments like a daily garage sale.
No concern when their children play with toys in the toy area, then fail to clean up after them leaving a hazard in the walkways for other patrons.
Leave items where ever they feel, instead of back in similar department.
Lack of flexibility in work scheduling, despite what the company claims.
Management not giving a crap about your life outside of work or any health/family related issues going on. They need you working the store and helping customers, not caring or having to attend to your own problems. Kind of hard to take care of business outside of work when there is NO work/life balance and employees are working majority of other business' working hours.

    Advice to Management

Pay more attention to your associates. They have issues that need to be dealt with from time to time outside of work from, Please be sensitive to this.
More incentives to come to work at the neighborhood garage sale.

    Pros

20% discount. Friendly employees, fun place to work

    Cons

    1. Break room for employees lacks paper towels to dry our hands on; when
we are out of paper towels, Ross provides toilet paper. Recently there were no paper
        towels nor toilet paper.
2, Ross maintains indoor temperature at 80-82 degrees Fahrenheit, even when it is 85-
92 degrees outside. Customers complain: they would have bought more clothes except
they were so uncomfortable. Ross is losing money due to high temperature and humidity.
    3. Ross hires employees then reduces hours of current employees to as little as 10 hours/wk.
    4. Manager is rude to customers and to employees.
    5. Shopping carts wheel treads have fallen off. Hummers need an alignment.

    Advice to Management

    None that will be taken.
