I have been working at Ross Stores full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

There is always extra hours weather you want them or not. Other than that there is not alot to say about it.

Cons

Horrible management that doesn't stick around to learn anything. Always having to train new people that the company doesn't care about. If you cant keep a manager what makes you think the employees are going to want to stay.

I have been working at Ross Stores part-time

    Pros

The pro for working at Ross is you get a store discount and most of my co worker are quite nice and very friendly.

    Cons

Some of the downsides is that it is quite dirty in the store also you are require to do a lot of work for minimum wage. Another thing is the amount of hours you get if you happen to go over the 25 hours weekly the store manager complains that you have to many hours and make you take lunches when you are not required to take one.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

My advice to management is actually look at the market in some areas because the store I worked at stay open till around 11 pm and to me it was a waste of resources for that store to stay open that late.
