    I worked at Royal Bank of Canada full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Good pay ($18/hr for Expert Customer Service Representative)
    - Training programs to forward career path (some paid courses)
    - Good benefits package
    - Flexible work arrangements for students (ie. mobile CSRs, accommodating hours, fair pay)

    Cons

    - Movement to "retail environment" (lack of professionalism; Apple store look-a-like)
    - Branch managers may hinder career potential (will not advance you because you are competent in current role and it would be challenging to find suitable replacement)
    - Strong emphasis on cold calling and sales in certain roles

    Scrap the change to a retail store environment

    lack of communication from upper management to branch level
