Hopeless and pitiful

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsCan't think of any pros, perhaps the commute if you live in Fairfield county

ConsThe most misguided, pitiful and political company I ever worked in and they are in a free fall. A major reorg at least once a year, very mediocre management, all good people are gone, the incompetents stayed behind. Hideous politics as everyone is trying to survive. Terrible reputation.

Advice to Senior ManagementYou are the problem.

Good to start career in investment banking domain but not good enough for long term prospects.

I have been working at Royal Bank of Scotland full-time for more than 3 years

Pros: Cabs facility and fix timings for many. Gives good number… Cons: Favor-ism, very less hikes at the end of year, high work pressure and bureaucratic decisions and wrong people… Advice to Senior Management: Value to merit and not on recommendation and favor-ism. Management doesn't mean to rest… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More

I have been working at Royal Bank of Scotland full-time for more than a year

Pros: The only upside of working in RBS I felt was the colleagues has interesting attitude towards work. RBS has an excellent interview programme which… Cons: Many downsides, it could be years before you can change platforms/Technology. Middle management is stupid and could not handle pressure, its more or less being… Advice to Senior Management: Stabilize yourself, cut out unnecessary people and pay who are… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company… More
