I have been working at Royal Bank of Scotland full-time (more than 5 years)

Pros

Greenwich capital used to be a great company. Since it was acquired by RBS, the culture has changed and it is hard to see any pros

Cons

The company has no growth prospect: the business is shrinking, people are leaving, bonuses are gone and it is hard to see how the company will reimburse the UK government. New grads come and go as they realize the grim outlook.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Fire half the people, double the pay for the one who stay and productivity will come back... without incentive don't expect to get anything from your employees

Doesn't Recommend
Negative Outlook
No opinion of CEO

Slave drivers with no thought to employee's concerns

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The HR Director should stop worrying about the right season to wear open toe shoes and learn about human capital management and employment law

I have been working at Royal Bank of Scotland full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Great medical benefits and vacation plans. Decent salary. Open floor plan. Good people working at the bank. 10 paid holidays a year with 3 weeks vacation.

    Cons

Open floor plan. No bonuses for two years now. Instability in bank's prospects. Hesitant to allow use of vacation.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Work hard to stabilize the bank and remember your employees need incentive to stay
