Former Employee – worked at Royal Bank of Scotland as an intern for less than a year

Pros – The pay is excellent; the team-mates are down to earth and wiling to teach you lots, your average MD is not inaccessible.

Cons – The company (to be fair, the industry as a whole) is not in the best of times. There is danger of the reduction of the workforce, present at all times. This will either motivate you lots, or will make your experience frustrating.

Advice to Senior Management – There is an atmosphere of hidden trepidation to do with anticipation for further reductions in workforce. This is hardly a plus.
