I worked at Royal Bank of Scotland full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    Benefits are ok.
Office in Stamford is nice. Cafeteria offers a large variety of food for breakfast and lunch, not cheap but quality is ok.

    Cons

Atmosphere is toxic. People are just waiting to be fired or to find a new job outside RBS. If the job market was better the building would be empty.
Bank is basically run by the UK government and it shows.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
