    Pros

    * Nice building
    * Some perks
    * Some decent hardworking people

    Cons

    * Gossipy / backstabbing behavior is encouraged
    * Transfers between departments are shunned
    * Don't end up on anyone's hit list... you'll be gone before you can say "haggis"

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Take a good look at who's managing the place. You'll find the inmates are running the asylum.

    I have been working at Royal Bank of Scotland full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    Starting salary was very aggressive & competitive.
    Good training program.

    Cons

    Director & VPs (i.e. Management). Talk about incompetent. Decisions are not based on performance. Rather, they are made on pure emotion with no logic or backing. I have never been treated so poorly in my life by an employer. The whole Management team, starting at the top, have their head-up their a@#es.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Get a new job as an Analyst in a dark basement far far away.
