I worked at Royal Caribbean Cruises as a contractor (more than an year)

Pros

Lots of freedom to work, comfortable environment, relationships between most crew very friendly, accommodating to monolingual employees. Plenty of time to get off the ship and enjoy the ports of call.

Cons

Interaction with upper management can be very stressful, constant pressure to do more work with little or no incentive. Life at sea can often be stressful and claustrophobic.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Upper management should not expect employees to work harder and harder every month without some sort of reward or incentive.
