I worked at Royal Caribbean Cruises as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

More fun to work on than some other cruise lines. Quite a lot of freedom for the entertainment team who have a "staff" ranking.

    Cons

The various nationalities who are often department specific don't mix as much as would be beneficial. Also the hierarchy can be frustrating at times.

    Advice to Management

Encourage more interdepartmental activities that encourage actual conversation, rather than just parties where people mix with their own teams.

  2. Very good experience.

    Pros

Great benefits, decent pay and great co-workers. The best cruise line in the industry. The company is very well engaged with their employees.

    Cons

Too many structural changes in a short period of time. I had 4 bosses in 2 years. Too much work for one person.

    Advice to Management

Try not to make so many structural changes. Employees need time to get used to their new boss.
