    Pros

Worldwide company with health benefits and good retirement plan

    Cons

Managers at this particular location did not follow the company's policies, procedures, culture and values, making it vitually impossible to accomplish anything. All career opportunities are blocked by middle management and senior management's lack of supervision is more than palpable. Office managers do not believe in work / personal life balance, resenting people that can do their job on time and do not want to linger after hours or attending social events after office hours.

I have been working at Royal Vopak

    Pros

People are easy to work with, and senior management communicates views and strategy, bringing a sense of belonging to the rest of the team.

    Cons

Preferential treatment provided to identified people within the team, lean structure makes it harder to climb the corporate structure.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Promote more from local office, and not from other offices or headquarters. To ensure that talent is retained within the company.

    No opinion of CEO
