Pros

"Decent" pay.The menu is simple as can be as far as working in the kitchen.I don't know if they still do day one insurance but that was a plus.

Cons

Poor reward system.There is none anymore.Upper management literally makes things up as they go.Very poor HQ support.I've had them mess up on my vacation pay twice in two years.By that I mean not getting it after it was filed and I was notified that everything was good to go.Then having to turn around and go through a hassle to get them to send it with my next check (which leaves you without pay for a week)Servers have to "tip out" the bartender,the hostess,and the QSS.The tip out is based on sales.One of my coworkers is a full time server.Works around 30-35 hours a week.Her average tip out monthly is around 400$.That's your car payment or rent pretty much.When you multiply that by the total number of servers working in the entire corporation and that's a considerable sum of money that Ruby Tuesday is making off YOU the employees.That was a system put into place in the last year or so when they were brainstorming on ways to cut cost.

Advice to Senior Management

I've worked for the company for 5 years total.It seems in the last 3 years you've gone from being a fun place to work to a place that my coworkers and I pretty much go to because we have to get our bills paid.I've been to and worked in quite a few different stores and it's just a gloomy place anymore.And you should have your higher ups not be so snotty when dealing with your employees.
