Pros

Great staff and managers who really understand the restaurant business and make it their responsibility to see that everyone does well.

Cons

Corporate company can be a flip-floppy in terms of ideas, practices and promotions. These actions sometimes have detrimental effects at restaurant level.

I worked at Ruby Tuesday as a contractor for more than a year

    Pros

    Lots of locations in Alabama.

    Cons

No appreciation for hardwork or their staff members. Constantly down sizing and demoting people. No clear guidelines that are constantly changing. No true identity on what they want the concept to be. Most cooking is done in microwaves other than grilling and frying. Nothing is really made to order fresh.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't work for Ruby Tuesday. In the year and a half I was there they went through 4 regional directors and 5 district managers in my area. my district manager was demoted and made our gm. higher positions hold grudges and managers were forced to choose between keeping their job or firing the people the gm wanted gone even if they did not agree.
