I worked at Rue La La as a contractor for less than a year

Pros

Rue is a pretty well run company.
Most people are friendly and helpful.
Sample Sales and other discounts.
Free food and drink.
Current technology and workstations.
Knowledgeable and intelligent management.
Very clean and modern place to work.
Decent pay.

Cons

Very clique oriented. It felt a lot like being in high school again.
Poor IT management. Everything breaks. All the time...
Contracted employees can, and will, be dropped without warning or notice.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

The free food and sample sales are great, but please pay attention to your department managers. Some of them have no patience for new people and can be extremely demeaning.
