Finance concentration is weak. Not many big companies recruited MBA students there.

I worked at Rutgers University full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Respected university, excellent faculty, nice and hard working colleagues, relatively good salary.

    Cons

Understaffed in critical areas, terrible management, very low morale (in my department, the lack of support from management led to very high turnover). I had relocated to NJ for this job and I lasted just over a year because the environment was absolutely unbearable. I left at great personal expense, but my mental health was more important than the money. Overall, a very disappointing, demoralizing experience.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If the department is inherently stressful due to the type of work, make it easier for employees, not more difficult. And, personal lives do not take second place to work.
