Former Employee – worked at Ryan Homes part-time for less than a year
Pros – The hours are good.
Required to work only 2 weekends a month.
Cons – 3 hour interview process leading to only a temporary position.
Told to work part time as temp (with their suggested Temp Agency) until Corporate approved new hire funds.
Scheduled 30 hours a week for the first month (lots of people of vacation), 2nd month scheduled to work a TOTAL of 7 days!
Purposely misrepresented/dishonest about position available (in this case no "real" job was being offered).
Advice to Senior Management – Don't act like your going to hire a person full time just to use them to cover regular employees vacations. Use a temp agency and be honest about it being a temporary position.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
