There is culture of teams working independently without opportunity to learn other areas of the business through cross-functional projects. The company has a UAW labor force that basically runs the warehouse and trucking parts of the company.

Advice to Senior Management

Human Resources has too much power and influence in hiring and firing people and this hurts the ability to attract and retain talent.
