I have been working at S.C. Johnson full-time

    Pros

Salary, lots of opportunity to move up or across. The business is big enough that you probably couldn't get bored.

    Cons

In Racine Wisconsin. People stay for a long time so the culture is a bit stagnant. Actual office spaces are not inspiring. Some are not even pleasant.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

More flexibility on working remotely. Better health insurance plan.

I have been working at S.C. Johnson full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

SC Johnson has been a family owned company for 5 generations and the current CEO (great great grandson of the founder) is looking to remove the old nepotism habits and run the company the way a good company is run.

    Cons

Lots of old habits - second-guessing manager's decisions, not relying on data to make decisions.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Put people into positions to make decisions with clear data and hold them accountable to the intent of their decisions, no the outcome.
