    Relationship oriented company

I have been working at S.C. Johnson full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

If you work for this company you need to be ready to develop strong relationships in order to advance. Much of the promotion and advancement within is determined by who your sponsors are and who will go out on a limb for you. This is good if you are someone who works well in teams.

    Cons

Pretty much the same as the Pros but if you are not someone who likes to develop these relationships then it might be difficult to do well there. And, it seems that a lot of the work is done in LONG, over scheduled meetings!

  2.

    Great values and culture

I worked at S.C. Johnson full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Values and the style of people who work there. The family feeling of this comes across well and is now hardened up with astute management. Make good acquistions every few years of good brands.

    Cons

A bit traditional at times. Maybe slower to market than it could be and less risk.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Be more aggressive.
