Pros

great work environment. competitive salary. great location. The benefits were stellar. I was treated very well as a new-comer.

Cons

more difficult to advance career. you feel a little dumber after working here. inexperienced lower- level management. have managers take a course on management. Simple things like taking notes at meetings and setting deadlines, with weekly reports, should seem obvious to managers, but are often overlooked.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try and create new markets, not just expand market share in already saturated markets. The plan of taking away from competitors will only go so far.

    Pros

Good technology - lots of projects to work on. There are a lot of employees, both young and older, so there are opportunities to learn from other people.

    Cons

they hire lots of new college grads, hoping that they'll spend no time on personal life. There's also a lot of pigeon holing going on. Management can be a bit annoying at times -- there's a lot of cliqueishness going on. Too much focus on spending "face time" at work, and spending as much time as possible in the office. There should be a little more focus on keeping the good employees that they have, as there's lots of turnover.

    Pros

Benefited from a great global name brand that continue to pay dividends in new job search. As a global company, provided ability for internal transfers. Diverse portfolio of businesses also provided good opportunities for internal mobility.

    Cons

Depending on the type of business worked for, access to top management, as well as above mentioned mobility opportunities may not have been as forthcoming.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Clarity in communication and rationale for prioritising investment in different businesses.
