A terrible company to work for. They bought GE Plastics, then turned on employees

I have been working at SABIC full-time (more than 10 years)

Pros

Good pay (but getting worse all the time. Not keeping up with inflation)
Good benefits
Night and weekend bonuses pay.

Cons

Verbally abusive managers who blame operators for their failures.
An HR department that backs management no matter what they do.
Employees forced to work hundreds of hours of overtime, including days off, so Sabic doesn't have to hire enough people.
Recently started replacing permanent employees with bottom of the barrel temporary workers.
Recently created a new job classification that pays about 1/3 less than previously. Jobs are given that classification without managers having any idea what they involve.
Recently shifted to a policy of locking people into jobs for 5 years instead of the 2 years that GE had set up.
Recently shifted to a policy of hiring new people for preferred jobs instead of allowing all employees a chance to sign those jobs. So, loyal employees are squeezed out of opportunities for good jobs.
Equipment is in need of replacement or repair, but the company won't spend the money.
A sense that management dislikes shift workers and resents their pay and benefits.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Allow employees to rate managers and bosses using an independent website like bossrater to identify problem managers. Replace managers that get extremely low ratings.
Hire enough people that workers don't have to work hundreds of hours of overtime.
Eliminate the new, lower paying job classification. GE determined that those jobs were of equal value. What has Sabic done to prove otherwise?
Stop trying to replace permanent employees with cheap, unreliable, unskilled temporary workers.
Return to GE's 2-year tenure policy
Return to GE's policy of allowing all employees a chance to sign preferred jobs, regardless of tenure.
Stop hiring new people to take jobs that employees want.
Show some loyalty to employees.
Spend the money to repair the equipment that is barely being held together.

Doesn't Recommend
Negative Outlook
No opinion of CEO
