I have been working at SABIC

Pros

Best product portfolio, great technical resources, best vertically integrated company in Engineering materials, great people to work with, good benefits, including pension offer.

Cons

recent acquisition by Sabic may result in decisions contrary to good business practices. Very difficult to assess path forward, although Sabic will outperform rest of industry.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take another mile high look at the current structure, commercial vs internal, distribution vs direct, and determine best path forward

    I worked at SABIC

    Pros

The benefits package is second to none

    Cons

Saudi owned company does not bode well in blue collar America. Often times getting something changed or pushed through the channels was difficult and discouraging. The outsourcing of the AP/AR function to India was a real problem fr many of the customers especially in the down economy.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Let those whom are successful in their current roles chase bigger opportunites.
