I have been working at SAIC

Pros

Very interesting work of National importance, good salaries and bonuses, excellent benefits package, promotions available. Very ethical company. Very involved in community.

Cons

SAIC is still struggling with finding a way to share information across Business Units and to present to the customer One SAIC. Hinders SAIC in winning new business.

    Pros

The work can be quite rewarding.
Some of the people you meet and work with make the difference between staying or leaving.

    Cons

no longer about the employee - all about the Execs making more and more money. Bonuses have all but disappeared for the actual performer.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

When you take care of the employee or staff, they in turn will take care of you. Forego this one principle in your career, and you will always struggle with making your numbers.

    Pros

    Benfits are OK
    Pay is OK

    Cons

Most people who work for the San Diego office have been there for thier entire careers. Very hard to break down this wall if you are are not part of this crowd. They single you out and treat you poorly if you are not. Do not recommend working in the SD office if you are new to the environment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Treat employees better.
