Current Employee – been working at SAIC
Pros – Good benefits, reasonably good pay, some interesting work, good job security (highly dependent on your business unit), many good lower level workers
Cons – The bureaucracy is often stifling and upper management is so risk averse (or lazy) that it's impossible to get any new, interesting work started.
Advice to Senior Management – Allow employees to be more entrepreneurial. It may hurt the bottom line in the short term, but the company won't be able to grow forever if they can never be very creative.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
