I worked at SAIC full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Great collaboration and team cohesion. Strong focus on excellence in services rendered. Outstanding ethics both in action and through frequently reiterated training.

    Cons

Work-life balance is not applicable when the 40hr workweek frequently (if not routinely!) extends far beyond that - as a matter of expectation by management. Benefits are 'adequate' but not formidable.

    I worked at SAIC full-time

    Pros

SAIC has the size and resources to commit to proposals and business initiatives.

    Cons

SAIC has been left behind by its competition and it has failed to evolve in today's small business and nimble environment. Cronyism is a foundational part of its culture.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to force change and hire outside the company for fresh ideas and concepts.
