I have been working at SAIC

Pros

You are treated with respect and allowed a great deal of freedom. Admin is handled through the company website and is fairly efficient and painless. Lots of online training available.

Cons

You are on your own. Each office is almost 100% independant which is good when times are good but when things go south you get dropped in an instant. HR is almost totally useless when you are in a redeployment situtation.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

They are doing pretty well so I can't say too much.

No opinion of CEO

I have been working at SAIC

    Pros

At the time it was employee owned and the stock did very well. It was a good motivating factor to work hard to increase the upside potential.

    Cons

The facilities were not always the best and the location I worked at was far away from the group and executive management so to advance would have required moving.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

At the time I worked there more communication from the senior management to our remote office would have been better.
