I worked at SAIC full-time (more than 5 years)

Pros

Great people, interesting work, constantly changing contracts.

Cons

Since the split the company is not employee oriented. It's become just another place to work.

I have been working at SAIC

    Pros

Extremely nice people to work with, but really dependent on your specific team and manager. The work is rarely very stressful and work-life balance is great.

    Cons

It's great when your team is getting contracts, but not when you're scrambling to get the next job lined up. Big company that mainly works with the government, so lots of bureaucracy and security procedures to go through.

  2. Excellent for those with the proper skills, experience and clearance levels.

    Pros

Multiple contracts throughout USG, state and local governments.

    Cons

Works just like its clients--a huge lumbering bureaucracy.
