Pros

Great people, interesting work, constantly changing contracts.

Cons

Since the split the company is not employee oriented. It's become just another place to work.

Advice to Management

Listen to the people on your teams and incorporate their feedback.

    Pros

The old SAIC had a great ethics program, they invested in their employees' education, and promoted from within. SAIC used to be known for its quality employees who took great pride in their work and company.

    Cons

No job stability. Now they seem to be hiring so much from the outside that people on the inside are getting left behind. The company is going more to the "younger and cheaper" mentality to win bids.

    Advice to Management

Take a look at the old SAIC, employees owned the company and loved to look there. The benefits were great (health and otherwise) and no one feared for their jobs. Now there is an air of fear throughout the company.
