I have been working at SAIC for less than a year

    Pros

    Above average salary + benefits

    Cons

Terrible project / funding management, i.e. they will bait you with good salary when there's funding (mostly government projects) but they will not hesitate to lay you off when funding is almost exhausted. And you need to put in some ridiculous hours because some managers always underestimate the time needed to complete the project in order to win the bids.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Replace your terrible project managers, or whoever that come up with time estimates for most of the projects, not the good employees you lay off.
