Company site for training courses. Access to on-line library of books.

I have been working at SAIC full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Depends on the group. Some folks have great experiences with their management, group and assignment. Vast range of projects to work on, customers to work with and locations.

    Cons

Typically have lackluster raises, little room for advancement unless you leave and come back, silly performance review process (no one gets a 5), and fewer and fewer employee benefits. Almost seems like they are grooming the company for a takeover target. They tend to have horrible timing and methods for letting folks go. If you lose coverage, you have two weeks to find another position for yourself or you are on the street.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Quit trying to take away our benefits.
