Was a great company to work for until Dr. Beyster retired. It has been in a continuous state of decline ever since.

Pros

Opportunities to grow in your field of expertise. Ability to bounce new ideas off people in the field.

Cons

Managers lack communication skills which they blame on subordinates. There is no such thing as life/work balance. You are expected to give it all to the breaking point which is then conveniently forgotten during performance reviews. Employees at the Corporate level are very cliquish.

Advice to Management

Come up with a solid business plan and stick with it. Continuous reorganization due to unfocused views cause instability and heartache.

    Pros

The salary is industry competitive. I was hired according to my skills and was paid fairly.

    Cons

An HR happy company with numerous employee relations issues. The company fails with regard to career advancement. Once the contract ended, SAIC made no effort to find us placement within the company.

    Advice to Management

Need to promote more of a team atmosphere.
