I have been working at SAIC full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Company has good people, good integrity, decent salaries, and interesting work. I have been with the company for over 4 years and have enjoyed my time here. I have been afforded many opportunities to advance myself and my job skills.

    Cons

One major problem I see is SAIC splitting into two companies. They have reorganized the management structure and employees are now 'managed' by someone who has never met you and knows nothing about you or your work. Benefits have been declining each year. Job security is going away. No one seems to know whats going on. Upper management doesn't know (or is not saying) what they see for the future for SAIC. Many employees are left wondering if they will continue to have a job.

    Advice to Management

Do a better job taking with your employees. Let them know what you see for the future (good or bad) so they can plan accordingly.
