    > No exposure to Engineering project
    > No vision from higher management resulting in loosing good contracts

Great place to work, but you are a contractor and when it completes you have to find other work.

I have been working at SAIC

    Pros

Highly respected company in the government sector
Workers are held to a very high standard of ethics
    Excellent pay and benefits
    Outstanding online training opportunities.
Great place for a career if the opportunities are available.

    Cons

As others have said, the biggest problem is that advancement and career options are completely dependent on the size of your division. If you aren't in one of the largest divisions then you are pretty much done with SAIC once your contract is complete.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

SAIC needs to provide better support to the smaller offices. Many of these are supporting contracts that are GREAT for the bottom line. Providing better relocation support for talented employees that lose coverage in smaller offices would also be beneficial.
