Pros

excellent professionals, great products, the best clients in the world. Its a great school to grow in.

Cons

when reaching really senior levels you'll clearly see the clashes between HQ Germany and HQ US - you need to play lots of politics and the company looses a lot of its charm

Advice to ManagementAdvice

cut the politics to a minimum. Go back to what made SAP great - Passion for the customers and respect to the individual

Recommends
Positive Outlook
Disapproves of CEO

Current Employee - Consultant in Walldorf, Baden-Wurttemberg (Germany)

    Pros

Big multi-national company, one of the leaders in BI.

    Cons

    - Proft no rasing as expected
    - Employees' compensation dropped sharpely in 2013, despite this the 2 CEOs got a huge salary increase although SAP did not meet all its targets for 2013.
    - Internal re-orgs cause dispruption and need to prove value (e.g. increase profit)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    - Improve communication to employees
    - @CEOs: Huge raise in compensation is uncalled for in 2013

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
