I have been working at SAP full-time (more than 10 years)

Pros

It's a global company but kind of traditional IT company. You could learn lots of solution landscape with various customer from various industries. Promotion is step by step, seems not to be rapid though you've the exceptional performance. Personal growth is based on your ambition, but not

Cons

The insight into projects is not deep though you touch so many critical customers. The wok-life balance is OK. The compensation is good as a German company, but not comparable to US company in internet industry.

I worked at SAP full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Fuel card and free food, but these are highlighted when trying to get a pay rise. The flexi time is hand, but most companies seem to have flexi time now.

    Cons

The salaries are very poor and the pay increases are only ever about 1-2%. The pension is shocking, they contributed 2%. It's a very lazy environment, perfect for someone with no ambition. Some people seem to have no work what so ever because they spend most of their time in the canteen. Most roles will lead to you been pigeonholed as they're isn't a demand for the roles in other companies. The location isn't great and parking is limited. They have travel freezes all the time to save money and training is done over the phone from india/Germany.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make it easier for people to move teams, lots of people are bored in their current positions. Pay the employees better and they might be able to afford to live in Dublin.
