For this company is the seniority more important than the skills and talents

Pros

Great opportunities to get familiar with the SAP environment. Attractive benefits for the employees. Good for your CV. Good possibilities to build a social network. If you don't want to invest much time into your work and if you want to get a stable salary which wont change significantly over the next 10 years, it's perfect company for you.

Cons

Monetary compensation in the development is not good enough for the newcomers. It takes too much time to get it to the same level as the seniors already have. The salaries do not grow fast anymore. For doing the same job the people get paid differently. Many developers do not have the right education in the informatics, but have the "Architect" title because of the seniority. It is no matter how strong you are and how many responsibilities you take over, the manager does not have any budget to increase your salary significantly, because all the budget is distributed yearly over all the people nearby equally. If you are strong developer with good social skills, stay at SAP for a couple of years, after that look around, there are lots of companies which pay for you significantly more.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Invest in the right people. Invest in young people coming from the university with the good education. The most people in the development of the SAP are physicists or matematicians. There are really few people who have learned informatics and software architecture. For good job and good skills the people should be paid appropriate, regardless of the budget or seniority. Otherwise the good people will leave and only those would stay, which wont get such a high salary anywhere else.

    Pros

Moral ethics in business . SAP values . Work and Life Balance . Benefits and Package . Flexible timings. Market Leader and Innovative. Overall Good if you get a better work to do there.

    Cons

Slow , Bad middle management , Resistant to change , Not enough done to grow enough ABAP developers and ecosystem outside the company. Hiring more than required and keeping employees idle.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I'm not intelligent enough to give advice or feedback on the leadership as there was lot of organizational changes at SAP in last few years. I think young and dynamic leader , who is willing to bet will take this company far ahead than what it is.
