I have been working at SAS Institute

    Pros

    -Treated with respect.
-Recognized as a knowledge worker and given an environment to pursue ideas
-Generally intelligent co-workers and gifted leaders
-Work/life balance the best bar none
-Leadership position around analytics allows for experimentation

    Cons

-Flat organization leaves little room for growth
-Will never have the opprotunity to get rich like at other tech companies
-Low turnover has created a culture of cronyism, lack of accountability and low expectations from certain veterans.
