I have been working at SAS Institute full-time (more than a year)

Pros

Great campus with library, gym, pool and various sports fields. No pressure work environment enables one to achieve perfection on their craft.

Cons

Could use more of the standard software engineering practices like design documentation and meetings.

Internal competition could sometimes waste resources.
