ConsThey have no faithfullness to the appraisers. If someone will do claims $5.00 cheaper, they will get the claims. They hire inexperienced appraisers, who cannot produce a quality work product, and do not understand the insurance industry. If you happen to get so overwhelmed with work that you can't take anymore assignments, they will still assign claims to you if they have no backup plan(which they wont. You will then be blamed. They will pressure you to buy a franchise. The franchising business model may be the downfall of this company if it not handled better. They should only franchise HIGHLY QUALIFIED people. ot anyone who can come up with the frinchise fee and has a licence(if needed). They rely quite a bit on an automated work review proccess, which does not work well. Be prepaired to be yelled at if you make a mistake. They will not train you. There is really no training function at SCA,

Advice to Senior ManagementLook we all know the pricing war between large appraisal companies exists.Be different. Hire only the best, They will give you the work product you need. Your franchising model is very flawed. Lots of new franchises means nothing for you if they cant do they job properly. Hiring unqualified appraisers is killing you. Stop doing it. Appraisers should complete all work on site. They need a laptop, aircard, and printer in the car. They need to work as much like a staff appraiser as possible.
Appraisers who view a car one day, and complete the assignment another day are not doing the jjob correctly. Yes, you can tell your venders what they need to do the job. Stop making prommises to your clients they you cannot keep. That hurts everbody. Your marketing team is very professional, it's time your workforce is as well. But, it's your own fault that it's not. Ask the people who know the appraisers the best what they think.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
