Pros

Variable shifts to meet your needs, great large parking with no cost.

Cons

Huge turn over, start up office was not yet situated for consistency.

    I worked at SECURUS Technologies full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Interesting field of technology
    Lots of lateral mobility
    Some upward mobility within departments

    Cons

    Managers rarely willing to stick their neck out for you.
    High-level management valued getting products out the door rather than ensuring quality.
    Trying to move to a new department is near impossible if you do not know someone.
    Once you leave, you can never come back.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Realize that promoting from within is better than hiring from outside. Not only do you gain more employee loyalty, but you also save a year training a new hire in a very specialized product when employees take other jobs.

    Pros

    Compensation is good. I had flexible work schedule. Company let its tech support employees to work from home in inclement weather or for any other appropriate reasons

    Cons

    Career or professional growth is limited as the company is not too big, 400 employees.

    The employee reviews done should be used somewhere and should not be done just as a formality.
