Pros

variety of clients, global brand, diverse people, opportunity to travel, training and exposure to different products

Cons

limited use of products, lack of communication sometimes between sales and consulting, high turnover and management and people changes, less synergy between country offices

Advice to ManagementAdvice

focus on internal HR and providing broader consultancy father than product based solutions and greater sharing of knowledge and experience between countries and more cohesive client management

    I have been working at SHL full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    You get to work with ambitious talented people. The products are great and the company reputation is great.

    Cons

    No way near the benefits and culture of successful work environments. I believe a lot of companies with talented people have a bad work life balance. But they compensate with great benefits and a great work environment. Could be free food, creative inspiration from games or something that boost team spirit and take away thoughts from how many hours you spend at your office to work, even if it is great work.

    I worked at SHL full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Excellent training and a very busy work place; plenty of work to do each day of the week.

    Cons

    VERY heavy focus on metrics; expected to "WOW every caller" but you get dinged if you take the time required to actually do so.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Take those metrics in balance with what you ASK the rep to do. You want us to "educate the callers" and "promote and explain other solutions" but then you ding people that actually DO it.
