I have been working at SLP

Pros

An overall ok place to work, for a short term stay. No long term prospects. You can not move beyond teaching however this is the case for most places.

Cons

Good co workers who support you and help you out. Upper management at time can be helpful. Great vacation time.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Learn to appreciate your workers, and dont be so hard on them for small stuff. A lot of time is spent of training people but not enough effort is in place to keep them.

I worked at SLP full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Very friendly coworkers, owners were very caring and went out of their way to make sure workers were happy and comfortable, kids were amazing

    Cons

Some parents were very demanding and unreasonable, complained over trivial issues, put a lot of pressure on school and employees to cave to every little demand, even if it didnt benefit the kids or their education.

  2.

The children are wonderful, but the preschool supervisor lacks the necessary skills to manage others.

I have been working at SLP full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Being able to travel is a definite plus and the children are very sweet. You are always paid on time. Our coworkers are fantastic and always willing to help.

    Cons

We are somewhat understaffed at this location, and management is poor.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Additional training would be helpful and better communication. Understanding cultural differences and more empathy wouldn't hurt either.
