Current Employee - Account Manager  in  Los Angeles, CA
Current Employee - Account Manager in Los Angeles, CA

    Pros

The company has a great foundation of Sales Managers in place. They are all helpful in working with the Account Managers to be as successful as possible despite the micro management style of the company. The team of managers employed by the company are all field proven managers that know their jobs and are great at developing the talent they hire.

    Cons

Pay with the company is not as competitive as other companies especially now that the company has instituted a GPS monitoring system that increases the level of stress experienced by guys in the field. Corporate management is doing a dis-service to its team of outside sales personnel by showing its level of distrust in its team of sales guys to do their jobs. It is really sad that such a great place to work has now become another corporate machine.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get rid of the GPS MONITORING SYSTEM and trust your Sales Executives and Sales Managers. They have gotten the job done in the past without GPS and they can and will still get it done. You are going to loose a lot of valuable people if you continue these rediculous behaviors.

Good intermediate job, but most talent leaves after 3-5 years

Current Employee - Design Engineer  in  Noblesville, IN
Current Employee - Design Engineer in Noblesville, IN

    Pros

Engineers gets to work with some very interesting equipment. The engineering staff rarely works over 40 hours per week. Most people on the production floor are very receptive of good engineering analysis.

    Cons

It would be a very difficult place to start you career, due to the lack of employee training. They give you a computer and some tasks and leave you to your job. Most beginners struggle to succeed. The mid-level to upper management personel have some real issues. Most of them are unqualified for their respective positions, and are placed based on tenure.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

My advice to management would be to invest in some serious professional development for the current employees, so that they are vested in their future with the company. Managers and Team Leaders need to promote the talented staff and forget about tenure and HR road blocks. The company will continue to lose the quality engineers if things continue as they are.
