Pros

Smart, hopeful people with great intentions and vision. Very strong SME knowledge in Seattle-based technology companies spanning nearly two decades.

Cons

One of the main Board of Directors and founders is a complete lunatic, changing the course of the ship and entire company midstream on a whim, just because... Nobody can stand up to him. Shifting gears from purely tech-focused to also including creative, strategy and marketing was an extremely painful process that never lasted. An account director was brought in and made partner, who knew nothing about the agency side of the business but was given way too much control, completely tanking 40% of the business in the process leading to tons of attrition lasting more than a year. Two CTOs were running side-by-side during a merger, with a lot of tension and confusion felt by everyone that was never cleanly sorted out. There was a lot of fear with the fact that they couldn't pay their office lease at the HQ for more than a year, and what that meant in the long run.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Go with proven industry veterans in agencies when looking for leadership, rather than employees from the client side who know nothing about our business. Don't let a big gun push you and the company around just because they have deep pockets. Don't put all of your eggs in one basket, again and again and again.

    Pros

Hard to forget the name of your company. There is fresh coffee some days.

    Cons

Where to begin.....aside from the laughably bad name, no leadership and arrogant yet talent-less staff, no sales pipeline, dated business model, dishonest treatment of clients....did I mention the name???

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Well since there is none, there is no one to give advice to. Concede defeat. Problem lies within "agency" mentality of most of the "creative" staff who no nothing about delivering solutions to a client and think it's 1997 and everyone will get excited for "cool" web page design....

    Pros

Given the current economy, you could say that having any job is better than having none. This is one of those jobs.

    Cons

The company keeps shrinking and changing directions as it does. They're looking for an exit and getting more desperate. Like someone panicked in a burning house. If you're looking to go here, don't. If you're currently working here, leave.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There is no clear senior management to speak of now. The founders are in the background, hoping for the best as series of proxies take turns at bat. This place used to be great.
